Welcome to LENS. These terms govern your use of our application and services. By using LENS, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

LENS is an iOS application designed to help you live with intention through identity-based planning and reflection. The app provides tools for setting personal direction, planning daily actions, tracking patterns, and reviewing progress.

LENS is a tool for self-improvement, not a substitute for professional mental health services. If you're experiencing mental health challenges, please seek appropriate professional support.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it. Keep your credentials confidential. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

3. Subscription and Payment

LENS offers subscription-based access to premium features:

• Yearly subscription: Billed annually with a 7-day free trial
• Weekly subscription: Billed weekly with no trial period

Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in LENS, including your reflections, directions, moves, and reviews. We do not claim any rights to your personal content.

You are responsible for the content you create. Do not use LENS to store content that violates applicable laws or infringes on others' rights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use LENS only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to LENS systems or other users' data
• Use LENS in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of LENS
• Use automated systems to access LENS without permission

6. Intellectual Property

LENS, including its design, features, and content (excluding your personal content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on LENS without our permission.

7. Disclaimers

LENS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that LENS will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific needs.

Personal development is individual. Results from using LENS will vary. We make no guarantees about specific outcomes from using the app.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of LENS. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for LENS in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue LENS at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes when possible. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as LENS evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using LENS at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use LENS ends, but provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.
