Privacy Policy

LENS is built on a simple belief: honest self-reflection requires privacy. Your thoughts, struggles, and growth belong to you. We designed LENS to protect that space.

What We Collect

We collect only what's necessary to provide the service:

• Account information: Your email address and password (encrypted) when you create an account.
• Subscription data: Payment processing is handled by Apple's App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never see your payment details.
• Basic analytics: Anonymous usage patterns help us understand how to improve LENS. We do not track individual behavior or link analytics to your personal data.

What We Do Not Collect

Your reflections, directions, moves, and reviews are stored locally on your device and synced through your personal iCloud account. We cannot read this data. We do not have access to:

• Your written reflections or journal entries
• Your direction or identity statements
• Your daily moves or completion status
• Your drift patterns or course corrections
• Your non-negotiables or personal rules

Data Storage

Your personal data is stored in two places:

• On your device: All reflections and plans are stored locally using Apple's Core Data framework.
• In your iCloud: If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using CloudKit. This data is encrypted and accessible only to you.

Third-Party Services

LENS uses the following third-party services:

• Apple CloudKit: For optional cross-device sync. Data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account.
• RevenueCat: For subscription management. RevenueCat receives anonymous identifiers to track subscription status but has no access to your personal content.

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

• Delete the app to remove all local data
• Use iOS Settings to manage iCloud data for LENS
• Contact us to request account deletion

Children's Privacy

LENS is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as LENS evolves. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use of LENS after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
